Waiting Lists (2024)

Thank you for your application to the HCHA Housing Choice Voucher waiting list. Here are a couple of things you should know about checking your status at www.waitlistcheck.com. Please direct all questions to our dedicated waiting list email address, [emailprotected], for the fastest response.

Step 1.

You must first check your status at waitlistcheck.com using your username and password you set up during the application process to determine if you are Active (accepted) or Inactive (not accepted). Only Active applicants will be able to create an account in Assistance Check.

Step 2.

If your status is “Active,” you will need the PIN number from your confirmation receipt you received at the end of your application to set up your account in Assistance Check.Check your status now atwww.waitlistcheck.com.

If your status is“Inactive,” there is nothing further to do. You can join our Mailing List or follow us on Twitter and Facebook to stay connected regarding any future announcements about upcoming waiting list openings.

If you have questions about the waiting list or your application, all inquiries will be managed through our dedicated waiting list email address, [emailprotected] for effective tracking and resolution of issues and faster response times.

Assistance check allows enhanced communication with the Housing Authority including the ability to keep your legal and mailing information updated.

Not being able to log in at this time doesnot affect your application or position on the 2016 waiting list. The Housing Authority does not have an anticipated date as to when applicants will be contacted from the waitlist. When an anticipated date is determined, the Housing Authority will post the information on our website.
