I bought my copy of Fiber Fueled from Audible, UK. I listened to the audio book at bedtime and the narrator of Fiber Fueled lulled me off to slumber with lots of fascinating information including what foods were amazing for gut health.

Although I have given the book a second and third listen while I was more awake, as I was cooking dinner!

Recipe FAQs And Notes

How do I store leftover vegan turmeric latte?

Leftovers can be chilled, poured into a suitable container and stored in the fridge for up to 3 days. Gently reheat the latte in a sauce or milk pan until piping hot.

The turmeric latte may split as it sits in the fridge but can be rectified by simply stirring well to combine again. Whether the latte splits or not is dependent on the type and quality of milk used, but is not a huge problem.

Is turmeric latte gluten-free?

Yes.

This turmeric latte is gluten-free but as always check all your ingredients in case any may happen to contain gluten. Especially any spice blends and plant milk you decide to use.

Can I use this recipe to prepare a chilled turmeric latte?

A glass of chilled turmeric latte is so refreshing on a summer day.

Prepare the latte as per the instructions. The spices need to simmer in the milk to release the flavours.

Cool and pour the latte into a suitable container and place in the fridge for at least a few hours or overnight.

Pour the latte into chilled glasses with ice cubes.

Can I add anything extra to vegan turmeric latte?

Yes, I often do!

Some ideas:

* more cinnamon. I often increase the cinnamon to ½-1 teaspoon as I love the flavour

* a cinnamon stick

* replace the cinnamon with pumpkin spice or mixed spice blend

* more black pepper. I love the flavour this provides and just keeping adding a little more until I have the desired taste

* a few star anise or whole dried cloves (remove these before drinking!)

* grated zest of lemon. lime, grapefruit or orange

Can I prepare more servings?

Of course!

Simply double the ingredients for 4 servings or for 2-3 more hearty servings!

The beauty of this recipe is that it is amazingly versatile in being able to adjust the ingredients to your own quantity and flavour preferences.

Which plant milk is best for turmeric latte?

Any plant milk is perfect for this recipe however a plant milk that has been proven to combine with hot drinks is best, as the potential for splitting is decreased.

Any plant milk that you currently use for hot drinks is ideal. I tend to use an oat or soya milk as I find these extra creamy and hold up well for hot drinks.

If any splitting does occur simply whisk back together.
